GUDLOOK is a technology platform owned and operated by Thriftster NYC LLC ("GUDLOOK," "we," "us," or "our") that connects customers with trusted independent barbers and natural hair professionals.
Whether you're getting ready for work, a date, a wedding, vacation, a photoshoot, or simply keeping your look fresh, GUDLOOK makes discovering and booking quality professionals simple.
By accessing or using GUDLOOK's website, mobile application, booking platform, payment services, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any other policies or guidelines made available through the Platform.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Platform.
DEFINITIONS
"Customer" means an individual who creates an account or books services through the GUDLOOK Platform.
"Operator" means an independent barber or natural hair professional who uses the GUDLOOK Platform to offer services to Customers.
"Platform" means GUDLOOK's website, Web/mobile application, booking system, payment services, and any related technology or services operated by GUDLOOK.
"Services" means the technology, tools, and features provided by GUDLOOK to connect Customers with Operators and facilitate bookings, payments, and related platform functions.
"Appointment" means a scheduled service between a Customer and an Operator that is requested or booked through the Platform.
"Account" means a registered GUDLOOK user account used to access the Platform and its features.

ABOUT GUDLOOK
GUDLOOK is a technology platform that connects Customers with trusted independent barbers and natural hair professionals ("Operators").
Our Platform allows Customers to discover, book, and pay for services offered by independent Operators.
Before joining GUDLOOK, Operators complete our onboarding and review process. While we strive to build a trusted marketplace, each Operator is an independent business and is solely responsible for the services they provide, including the quality, safety, and legality of those services.
GUDLOOK does not employ, supervise, direct, or control how Operators perform their services and is not responsible for the professional judgment, techniques, products, or results provided during an Appointment.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, joint venture, or partnership relationship between GUDLOOK and any Operator.
INDEPENDENT OPERATOR DISCLAIMER
GUDLOOK is a technology platform that connects Customers with independent Operators. GUDLOOK does not provide barbering, natural hair, grooming, or other professional services directly.
All services booked through the Platform are performed solely by independent Operators, who are responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and performance of the services they provide.
Although GUDLOOK reviews Operators as part of our onboarding process, we do not supervise, direct, control, or guarantee how an Operator performs their services. Each Operator exercises their own independent professional judgment and is solely responsible for the services they provide.
Appointments arranged through GUDLOOK are agreements between the Customer and the Operator. GUDLOOK's role is limited to providing the Platform that facilitates discovery, booking, payment processing, and communication.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GUDLOOK is not responsible for the acts, omissions, conduct, products, services, or professional decisions of any Operator before, during, or after an Appointment.
USER ACCOUNTS
Creating a GUDLOOK Account allows Customers to book Appointments, manage bookings, save favorite Operators, receive updates, and access other Platform features.
By creating an Account, you represent and warrant that:
• the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current
• you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement
• you will keep your contact information up to date
• you will maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account
You agree to notify GUDLOOK immediately if you believe your Account has been accessed without authorization or otherwise compromised.
GUDLOOK reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate Accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or are used in a fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized manner.
ELIGIBILITY
To use the Platform, create an Account, or book an Appointment, you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
If you book an Appointment on behalf of another individual, you represent and warrant that you have the legal authority and permission to do so.
GUDLOOK reserves the right to refuse service, suspend Accounts, or cancel Appointments if we reasonably believe a user does not meet these eligibility requirements.
BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS
A valid payment method is required to book an Appointment through GUDLOOK.
All payments made through the Platform are securely processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe.
By providing your payment information, you authorize GUDLOOK and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method for all applicable charges associated with your Appointment, including, where applicable:
• service fees
• taxes
• cancellation fees
• platform or convenience fees
• gratuities (tips)
• any other charges clearly disclosed before payment is completed
By completing a booking, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that sufficient funds are available to complete the transaction.
Unless otherwise stated, payment is required before an Appointment is confirmed.
Before completing payment, Customers are required to review and affirmatively accept these Terms of Use. By checking the required acceptance box during checkout and completing payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use and GUDLOOK's Privacy Policy.
GUDLOOK may maintain records of your acceptance of these Terms as part of the booking and payment process, where supported by our booking and payment systems.
Tips submitted through GUDLOOK are paid directly to the Operator unless otherwise disclosed.
PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or experience an issue with your payment, we encourage you to contact GUDLOOK before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your financial institution. Our team will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve payment concerns.
Customers retain all rights provided under applicable consumer protection laws and the policies of their financial institution.
However, initiating fraudulent or abusive chargebacks, disputing valid charges after services have been performed, providing false or misleading information during a payment dispute, or otherwise attempting to avoid payment may result in:
• suspension or termination of your GUDLOOK Account
• cancellation of pending or future Appointments
• forfeiture of promotional credits, memberships, or rewards
• collection efforts or other legal remedies available under applicable law
GUDLOOK reserves the right to provide relevant booking, payment, communication, and service records to Stripe, financial institutions, or other parties involved in resolving payment disputes, as permitted by applicable law.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Customers may cancel an Appointment through the GUDLOOK Platform, subject to the following cancellation policy:
• Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled Appointment may be eligible for a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled Appointment may be subject to partial or non-refundable charges.
• Same-day cancellations and Customer no-shows are generally not eligible for refunds.
If an Operator cancels an Appointment before services begin, GUDLOOK may, at its discretion, provide a full refund, booking credit, or assist the Customer in booking another available Operator.
If an Appointment cannot be completed because the Customer provides an incorrect address, fails to arrive, is unreasonably late, cannot be contacted, or creates an unsafe or inappropriate environment, the Appointment may be considered a Customer cancellation and may not be eligible for a refund.
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. GUDLOOK reserves the right to approve, deny, or issue full refunds, partial refunds, booking credits, or other reasonable resolutions based on the circumstances of each Appointment.
APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS
To help create a safe, respectful, and successful experience, Customers agree to:
• provide an accurate appointment address and any necessary access instructions
• ensure the appointment location is safe, clean, and reasonably suitable for the requested service
• treat Operators with courtesy, professionalism, and respect
• disclose any known allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities that may affect the requested service
• keep pets secured if they may interfere with the Appointment
• avoid threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behavior
• comply with all applicable laws during the Appointment
Operators may refuse, end, or cancel an Appointment if they reasonably believe the environment is unsafe, if the conditions prevent the service from being completed safely, or if the Customer violates these Terms.
If an Appointment cannot be completed because these requirements are not met, applicable cancellation or no-show fees may apply.
PROFESSIONALS ON GUDLOOK
GUDLOOK currently connects Customers with independent:
• Barbers
• Natural Hair Specialists
As GUDLOOK grows, additional professional service categories may be added to the Platform.
Every Operator completes GUDLOOK's onboarding and review process before joining the Platform. While GUDLOOK strives to maintain a trusted marketplace, acceptance onto the Platform does not guarantee the quality, outcome, availability, or suitability of any particular service or Appointment.
Operators are independent businesses and are solely responsible for the services they provide, including their professional judgment, techniques, products, equipment, scheduling, communications, and compliance with applicable laws and licensing requirements.
Customers are encouraged to review each Operator's profile, pricing, availability, ratings, and reviews before booking an Appointment.
PLATFORM RULES & ACCEPTABLE USE
To help maintain a trusted, respectful, and secure marketplace, all Customers, Operators, and other users of the Platform agree not to:
• create false or misleading Accounts
• impersonate another person or business
• provide false booking or payment information
• engage in fraud, scams, or deceptive activity
• harass, threaten, intimidate, or discriminate against other users
• upload or share unlawful, offensive, or misleading content
• interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
• attempt to access Accounts or information without authorization
• use automated tools, bots, or other methods to scrape or collect data from the Platform without GUDLOOK's written permission
• attempt to avoid GUDLOOK's booking process or payment system by arranging services outside the Platform after connecting through GUDLOOK
• manipulate ratings, reviews, referrals, promotions, or other Platform features
Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or permanent removal from the Platform, cancellation of Appointments, loss of promotional benefits, or other actions GUDLOOK determines are necessary to protect the Platform and its community.
SAFETY & COMMUNITY STANDARDS
GUDLOOK is committed to creating a safe, respectful, inclusive, and professional experience for Customers, Operators, and everyone using the Platform.
The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
• violence, threats, or intimidation
• harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
• illegal activity
• fraudulent bookings or payment activity
• possession or use of illegal drugs during an Appointment
• carrying or displaying weapons in a manner that creates an unsafe environment
• sexual harassment or unwanted advances
• damaging another person's property
• behavior that places any Customer, Operator, or member of the GUDLOOK community at risk
Operators and Customers may immediately end or cancel an Appointment if they reasonably believe their safety is at risk.
GUDLOOK reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any Account that violates these Community Standards or otherwise threatens the safety, integrity, or reputation of the Platform.
HEALTH & ALLERGY DISCLAIMER
Customers are responsible for informing their Operator before the Appointment of any known allergies, skin sensitivities, scalp conditions, medical conditions, or other information that may affect the requested service.
Customers should immediately notify their Operator if they experience discomfort, irritation, pain, or an allergic reaction before or during an Appointment.
GUDLOOK does not provide medical advice or medical services. Customers with concerns regarding allergies, skin conditions, scalp conditions, infections, or other health-related issues should consult a qualified healthcare professional before booking a service.
Operators are responsible for using their own professional judgment when providing services and may refuse, postpone, or discontinue an Appointment if they believe providing the requested service could create a health or safety risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GUDLOOK is not responsible for allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or other health-related outcomes resulting from products or services provided by independent Operators.
PRIVACY
Your privacy is important to GUDLOOK.
We collect, use, store, and share personal information only as necessary to operate the Platform, process payments, facilitate Appointments, provide customer support, communicate with users, improve our services, help prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws.
Payment information is processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. GUDLOOK does not store complete payment card information.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The GUDLOOK Platform, including its name, logo, trademarks, branding, website, mobile application, software, text, graphics, photographs, videos, designs, layouts, and other content (collectively, the "Content"), is owned by or licensed to Thriftster NYC LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws.
Except as expressly permitted by GUDLOOK, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, publish, sell, license, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise use any Content from the Platform without our prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of, or any right to use, GUDLOOK's trademarks, branding, logos, or other intellectual property except as necessary to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose.
If you provide GUDLOOK with feedback, suggestions, or ideas regarding the Platform, you agree that GUDLOOK may use those ideas without restriction or compensation to you.
PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNTS
From time to time, GUDLOOK may offer promotional codes, discounts, special offers, referral programs, memberships, loyalty programs, or other promotional incentives.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions:
• are subject to their own terms and conditions
• may have expiration dates or eligibility requirements
• may not be combined with other promotions or discounts
• may not be redeemed for cash or transferred to another person
• may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time at GUDLOOK's sole discretion
GUDLOOK reserves the right to cancel or revoke any promotion, discount, reward, referral benefit, or promotional credit obtained through fraud, abuse, misuse, or violation of these Terms.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Thriftster NYC LLC, doing business as GUDLOOK, and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to or use of the Platform or any services booked through the Platform.
This limitation includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from:
• the acts or omissions of independent Operators
• dissatisfaction with services provided by an Operator
• appointment delays, cancellations, or scheduling issues
• allergic reactions, skin irritation, or other health-related outcomes resulting from services performed by an Operator
• property damage or personal injury allegedly arising from services performed by an Operator
• unauthorized access to your Account resulting from your failure to protect your login credentials
• temporary interruptions, errors, or unavailability of the Platform
• lost profits, lost business opportunities, lost data, or other indirect financial losses
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
GUDLOOK strives to provide a reliable, secure, and high-quality Platform. However, the Platform and all related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
GUDLOOK does not guarantee that:
• the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• every Operator will be available for booking
• every Appointment will proceed exactly as scheduled
• every service will meet a Customer's personal expectations or preferences
• all information, profiles, ratings, reviews, or other content on the Platform will always be complete, accurate, or current
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, GUDLOOK disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
INDEMNIFICATION
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Thriftster NYC LLC, doing business as GUDLOOK, and its owners, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of or relating to:
• your use of the Platform
• your violation of these Terms
• your violation of any applicable law or the rights of another person
• fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful conduct
• any content or information you submit through the Platform
• your acts or omissions during an Appointment
This obligation applies only to the extent that the claim, loss, or expense results from your actions or omissions and is permitted by applicable law.
ACCOUNT SUSPENSION & TERMINATION
GUDLOOK reserves the right, at its sole discretion and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any Account or access to the Platform if a user:
• violates these Terms or any other GUDLOOK policies
• engages in fraud, scams, deceptive conduct, or payment abuse
• creates false or misleading Accounts
• harasses, threatens, discriminates against, or otherwise abuses another user
• compromises the safety, security, integrity, or reputation of the Platform
• interferes with the operation of the Platform or attempts to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other user Accounts
• misuses promotions, discounts, referral programs, memberships, or other Platform benefits
• violates applicable laws while using the Platform
GUDLOOK may remove content, cancel pending Appointments, revoke promotional benefits, restrict access to certain Platform features, or terminate Accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the Platform, its users, or its business.
Termination or suspension of an Account does not relieve a user of any outstanding payment obligations or other responsibilities incurred before the Account was suspended or terminated.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Use, your access to and use of the Platform, and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Platform or services booked through the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights, remedies, or protections that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have a question, concern, or dispute regarding the Platform or an Appointment, we encourage you to contact GUDLOOK first so we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly and in good faith.
Many concerns can be resolved quickly through customer support without the need for formal legal proceedings.
Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
GUDLOOK may update these Terms of Use from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, our services, applicable laws, or our business practices.
When we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date at the beginning of these Terms. Updated Terms become effective when posted on the Platform unless otherwise stated.
Your continued access to or use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should discontinue your use of the Platform.
