Welcome to Gudlook.

Gudlook is a lifestyle and service platform designed to help everyday people look good, feel confident, and show up for the moments that matter.

Through Gudlook, users may connect with independent operators including:

  • personal stylists

  • barbers

  • braiders and locticians

  • trainers

  • tailors

  • grooming professionals

  • wellness providers

  • additional lifestyle service providers as the platform evolves

By using Gudlook’s website, app, or services, you agree to these Terms of Use and all related platform policies.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of Gudlook services and platforms.

ABOUT GUDLOOK

Gudlook operates as a technology and booking platform that connects users with independent operators.

​

Gudlook itself does not directly perform barbering, styling, tailoring, wellness, grooming, fitness, or related personal services.

​

Operators available through Gudlook are independent contractors operating their own businesses and are not employees, partners, or agents of Gudlook.

​

Gudlook may review operators before permitting access to the platform, but Gudlook does not guarantee the quality, legality, safety, timing, conduct, or outcome of services provided by independent operators.

Users voluntarily choose to book and interact with operators at their own discretion.

USER ACCOUNTS

Certain features of Gudlook may require users to create an account.

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information

  • maintain updated account details

  • protect your login credentials

  • accept responsibility for activity occurring under your account

Gudlook reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or remove accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account or book services through Gudlook.

BOOKINGS & PAYMENTS

A valid payment method may be required to book services through Gudlook.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers including Stripe.

By booking services, users authorize Gudlook and its payment processors to charge the applicable booking fees, taxes, platform fees, and approved charges associated with the appointment.

 

Gudlook reserves the right to:

  • hold funds until service completion

  • cancel suspicious or fraudulent bookings

  • refuse service

  • issue credits or refunds when appropriate

  • adjust pricing or platform fees at any time

Tips submitted through the platform go directly to operators unless otherwise stated.

Gudlook is not responsible for additional charges imposed by banks, credit card providers, or third-party payment processors.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Users may cancel appointments through the Gudlook platform.

Cancellation terms may include:

  • cancellations made 24 hours or more before an appointment may qualify for a full refund

  • cancellations made less than 24 hours before an appointment may result in partial or non-refundable charges

  • same-day cancellations and no-shows may be non-refundable

If an operator cancels an appointment, users may receive:

  • a full refund

  • booking credit

  • assistance rebooking with another operator

​

Refund requests related to lateness, dissatisfaction, service quality, or other concerns are reviewed case-by-case.

Gudlook reserves the right to determine refund eligibility at its sole discretion.

OPERATOR RELATIONSHIPS

Gudlook works with independent operators and creatives who provide services through the platform.

Operators may include:

  • stylists

  • barbers

  • braiders and locticians

  • trainers

  • tailors

  • grooming professionals

  • wellness providers

  • additional service professionals as Gudlook evolves

Operators using Gudlook operate independently and maintain control over their own schedules, availability, services, and client experience.

Gudlook provides the platform, technology, and booking infrastructure that helps connect operators with users.

While Gudlook supports the experience, operators are not employees of Gudlook and independently provide their services through the platform.

USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Users agree to:

  • provide accurate booking information

  • communicate respectfully

  • provide safe environments for appointments

  • avoid harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive conduct

  • avoid fraudulent activity or chargebacks

  • comply with all applicable laws

Users are responsible for maintaining respectful behavior toward operators and other members of the Gudlook community.

Gudlook reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these standards.

SAFETY & COMMUNITY STANDARDS

Gudlook is committed to creating an inclusive, respectful, and safe experience for all users and operators.

The following behavior is strictly prohibited:

  • violence or threats

  • harassment or discrimination

  • hate speech

  • sexual misconduct

  • illegal activity

  • unsafe or unsanitary conditions

  • fraudulent bookings or scams

Operators reserve the right to refuse or leave appointments if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Gudlook may investigate complaints and remove users or operators from the platform at any time.

PRIVACY

Users agree to:

  • provide accurate booking information

  • communicate respectfully

  • provide safe environments for appointments

  • avoid harassment, discrimination, threats, or abusive conduct

  • avoid fraudulent activity or chargebacks

  • comply with all applicable laws

PROMOTIONS & MEMBERSHIPS

Gudlook may offer:

  • promotional codes

  • referral rewards

  • membership programs

  • discounts

  • limited-time offers

Gudlook reserves the right to modify, suspend, revoke, or terminate promotions or memberships at any time.

Promotional offers:

  • may not be redeemable for cash

  • may expire

  • may not be combined unless explicitly stated

​

Any misuse of promotions may result in account suspension.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Gudlook provides a platform that connects users with independent operators.

Gudlook is not liable for:

  • operator conduct

  • service outcomes

  • injuries

  • property damage

  • delays

  • disputes between users and operators

  • dissatisfaction with services

  • interruptions to platform access

​

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gudlook disclaims liability arising from the use of the platform or services booked through the platform.

ACCOUNT TERMINATION

Gudlook reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts that:

  • violate these Terms

  • engage in fraud

  • abuse users or operators

  • misuse promotions

  • create unsafe experiences

  • interfere with platform operations

Gudlook may remove content, cancel bookings, or restrict access without prior notice when necessary to protect the platform or community.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Gudlook may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of Gudlook services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Users are encouraged to review these Terms regularly.
